Tea Flight: Spring picked Chinese green teas

May 18 @ 1:30 pm - 2:00 pm

Green teas picked before the spring rains or yu-tsien are some of the finest and most nuance green teas available.  We will be sampling four different examples, several being examples of green teas not often exported out of China.

Dragonwell: One of China’s “Famous Teas”, it has long been a treasured spring tea for emperors.  Nutty and vegetal due to the higher amount of amino acids.

Wild Green: Made from wild tea trees growing around the Tao Yuan tea farm produce an aromatic, silky tea.  The leaves are HUGE!

White Monkey: Thick curled green leaves along with white buds produce a sweet, nutty flavor.

Buddhist Tea: Grown on an island in the South China Sea, this tea has been a customer favorite over the years.  Taste why!
